We are delighted to share that MiaZoo has actively joined the #CapsForFuture initiative by using the reverse vending machines for bottles and cans in LIDL stores.

Over the past two months, our team collected three bags of PET bottles from water and soft drinks, as well as aluminum cans. The entire amount collected from recycling these containers was donated to the #CapsForFuture campaign.

About the #CapsForFuture Initiative

Over the past year, LIDL supported the #CapsForFuture initiative by placing collection bins for bottle caps in their stores and adding an option for donations through the return machines. Thanks to these efforts, the funds raised from recycling bottle caps and bottles exceeded 180,000 BGN (rougly 92 000 EUR) – a result that shows the power of collective action!

Why do we continue to participate?

The funds collected from recycling bottles and cans will be used for initiatives that improve child healthcare. This includes purchasing medical equipment and providing support to healthcare institutions across the country.
